		<description>Utilizo el arte como un proceso científico, para entender mi entorno y otras dimensiones. Trabajo con textiles, tintas naturales, biomaterials y lo que tenga disponible. Desde una mirada respetuosa hacia la naturaleza, las plantas me conectan con lo espíritual, la ciencia con la experimentación y metodología de trabajo y el arte a interpretar el inconsciente a travéz de la materia.

SERIE: MANTO DE AGUA,&#38;nbsp;2025.“Manto de Agua”, reunen mas de 20 obras textiles y algunas prendas utilitarias teñidas con indigofera Tintorea, un pigmento vegetal, conocido como el azul de la tierra. La obras exploran el fluir de las aguas internas, como una metáfora del inconsciente que se libera en las profundidades del mar. Mi trabajo está influenciado por técnicas textiles japoneses, como el shibori y el ketazome y conceptos de la filosofía Budista zen, como el wabi-sabi que valora el arte de lo imperfecto y transitorio.

	EXPO:&#38;nbsp;EFECTO MARIPOSA, &#38;nbsp;2020.
“Efecto Mariposa”&#38;nbsp; es una expo virtual que
reúne un trabajo investigativo que realicé el año 2019 y que durante la
Pandemia quise sacar a la luz como una manifestación concreta de lo que nuestra naturaleza a diario nos habla.

La exposicion Manto de Agua, reúne más de 20 textiles y algunas
prendas utilitarias realizadas con Tintes Naturales y métodos ancestrales de
estampado y teñido textil. Andrea utiliza principalmente Indigofera Tinctoria, un
pigmento vegetal, conocido como el azul de la tierra, originario de Asia, Europa y
sudamérica.
Su trabajo está ligado a los oficios ancestrales y a la valoración de los
materiales, donde se ve influenciada por el budismo zen y el wabi-sabi, filosofía que
valora lo imperfecto, haciendo de su oficio diario un acto meditativo. A través de las
telas, los pigmentos vegetales y las puntadas, Andrea, busca una pintura inspirada en
la simpleza, lo transitorio y lo imperfecto. Tanto la investigación como la
experimentación son una constante motivación para la artista, en donde el taller se
convierte en un laboratorio y otras veces en su propio templo.&#38;nbsp;
Texto Curatorial
Cuando se vierte agua en el mar, se abre una estela solar, las espumas se disuelven 
y regresan a la densidad acuosa. Es la transformación de un tiempo circular.

Las obras de Andrea Lira concentran en telas, tintes y costuras las sensaciones internas y externas que abundan en los espesores y sutilezas del agua, aquellas vivientes en nuestro cuerpo, contenidas en la inmensidad de los océanos. Son experiencias enlazadas por los sueños, que vibran en lo profundo como una gota que recuerda ese estímulo del inconsciente. Y que despiertan cada día en un oficio meditado y lento de las manos azuladas de Andrea teñidas de índigo, para revivir en las telas, la protección, liberación y sanación de las aguas internas; las de dentro y las de afuera, las sucias y amorosas, las tuyas y las mías. Mover las aguas es entrar al vértigo de la mente para transmutar los ahogos en solturas, es saltar al vacío envueltos por la piel que nos cubre como un manto acogedor. 

El azul es la semilla que inspira esta exploración y que nos traslada al nacimiento y la impermanencia, donde la vida pende de un hilo.&#38;nbsp; Es el transitar por los caminos inciertos en compañía de los profundos azules que brotan hacia la superficie como un Manto de agua.

	LA HUELLA DEL COLOR&#38;nbsp;2024
La Huella del color esta compuesto de 8 textiles de 4 metros de largo, teñidos y pintados a mano. Es un proyecto creado especificamente para la galeria Emian, ubicada a las orillas del Lago Panguipulli, en el Taetro Educativo de las Artes de Panguipulli.
 En este proyecto busco transmitir la calma y profundidad tonal que uno siente al mirar el lago y su entorno, un paisaje que nos hace flotar y nos conecta con nuestro ser más ancestral. Los textiles doialogan con la luz y el tiempo del exterior, creando un puente entre naturaleza, la galeria y nuestro ser. &#38;nbsp;

La huella de un corazón azul Con el movimiento de las telas y la potencia del índigo, Andrea Lira nos propone en “La huella del color” una experiencia que se parece a flotar entre el cielo y el agua. En su obra, el azul reflejado en el Lago Panguipulli adquiere múltiples tonos, se degrada y se concentra como un elemento vivo que late y en su latido nos desplaza no solo en el espacio, sino también en el tiempo y las emociones. Desde el amanecer hasta el atardecer, la mirada de la artista abre portales en el paisaje y revela siluetas que se distinguen del fondo en un juego constante de simetrías: círculos, hojas, ramas, montañas, rombos. Son estos elementos, simples y cercanos, los que le permiten indagar en torno a la luz y la oscuridad, el abajo y el arriba, lo pequeño y lo universal y construir un lenguaje que habla con lo que nos rodea, pero también nos conecta con nuestros ancestros y la inmensidad del mundo.

El trabajo de Andrea con el color índigo es parte de una búsqueda artística de cerca de diez años en torno a materiales de la naturaleza, de tintes que pueden ser hallados en alimentos, flores, vegetales. En este caso, el tono se obtiene de un pigmento extraído de la planta Indigofera tinctoria.
Trabajar con azul es trabajar con un color de alta vibración, con múltiples referencias en la historia tanto de Oriente como de Occidente, un color que ha fascinado a músicos, poetas y artistas.
Pero Andrea llega al azul desde una geografía específica, el sur de Chile, sus lagos y sus cielos, y al abordarlo lo hace desde ese sitio y le imprime su sello. Se apropia del color, escoge el pigmento por su intensidad para luego emplearlo desde la sutileza, el respeto hacia los materiales y el cuidado artesanal que mueve su trabajo: el pigmento toma autonomía, se vuelve protagonista. Lo mismo sucede con la cerámica de los pequeños objetos que orbitan en el espacio de la muestra y con las telas que se revelan en su desnudez, con sus hilos y movimientos, y han sido trabajadas para conservar sus particularidades. 
Es el color el que vibra en ellas y deja a su paso un resplandor, una huella que es también una invitación a seguirlo y a permanecer en contacto con el aire, el agua y todo aquello que nos da vida.

Proyecto Textil: Vecindad 2021

Esta serie de textiles, pintados a
mano, juega con una paleta de color creada a partir de materiales
orgánicos, que aluden a lo ancestral y lo precario. Los colores son obtenidos
a través de un procesos alquímico que nos permiten penetrar la tela para siempre.
Experimentando con formas orgánicas y geométricas, donde la
curva y la recta están en un constante dialogo. Las tintas dejan una mancha
translucida, que plasman una narrativa femenina en continua transformación
y movimiento, formas que lucha por lograr un equilibrio precario. Una
simbología personal e intuitiva que incorpora el aprendizaje colectivo
y domestico de teñir, coser, pintar, enmendar y bordar. 


Cada paño de color es el resultado
de una prueba y error en donde los materiales se han transformado,
para llegar a piezas únicas. Donde finalmente vemos los
registros de un paisaje en constante transformación.

“Pensando desde la poética de la postal, 10 artistas han creado obras únicas de pequeño formato (11 x 16 cm). Cada obra postal tiene un valor de $59.500 pesos chilenos y llegará a la puerta de tu casa con tu correo de siempre, como un gesto nostálgico que pone en valor&#38;nbsp;prácticas que han quedado en el olvido. .Al adquirir una obra, estarás contribuyendo también con los almuerzos comunitarios de&#38;nbsp;Chile comparte. 	La luz eleva al ser fisico a su ser espiritual.
En este serie las imagenes son creadas a partir de bioplasticos, un material alternativo y organico hecho a partir de la relacion entre algas y tintas vegetales. A través de las cajas de luz,
los bioplásticos en diferentes formas geométricas son presentados en un equilibrio simbólico entre lo marino y lo vegetal. Creando piezas únicas a partir de nuestra naturaleza. La transparencia que es una de sus cualidades nos permiten ver la transformacion cromática extraidas del cuerpo de las plantas.

BIOFILIA, explora la misteriosa vida de organismos, como el moho, hongos, células y sustratos que se multiplican y se desarrollan a una velocidad y tamaño imperceptible al ojo humano. Las formas son modeladas con pulpa de papel reciclado y luego teñidas con tintas naturales que a su vez desarrollan hongos. Cada ser existe, se manifiesta y expresa por alguna razón, en esa linea mi obra busca explorar esos procesos de crecimiento caóticos y armónicos que a su vez son capaces de crear mundos paralelos que nos recuerdan imágenes difíciles de describir con palabras.

	Pintar con plantas que sanan, y el arte de sanar pintando, fue lamotivacion principal que me llevo a desarrollar está serie de acuarelas hechas a partir de plantas medicinales. En donde el proceso de encontrar el material, extraer el color y finalmente pintar, es tan relevante como la obra final. La pintura es la materializacion de un dialogo largo con cada planta y su color, en donde la imagen refleja un universo inexplorado y personal. Donde la memoria del ser vegetal nos enseña y nos guia.

	Plantas Medicinales Para El Cuerpo Social, 
2017.Exposición colectiva del equipo CINC, donde fuimos&#38;nbsp;invitadas a participar de la exposición "Los Cimientos, los Pilares, y el Firmamento". Curada por Angels Miranda 
Cada miembro de CINC, se concentre en un grupo de plantas mágicas y medicinales para la mujer. En mi caso investigue a la “Rubus ideaus” (hojas de frambuesa roja), “Salvia officinalis”, Achilea milenfolium (milenrrama), Geum chiloensis (yerba del clavo) y el Foeniculum vulgare (Hinojo). Mostrando su amplio uso medicinal y mágico, por generaciones. Al mismo tiempo los dibujos fueron pintados con las propias tintas extraídas de cada planta aludiendo a la simbología y propiedad de cada planta en distintos ciclos y etapas de la mujer. Desde la pubertad, la maternidad, trastornos hormonales y menopausia.
